Steve Tait PCC has worked at senior levels in the financial services industry over a 35 year career in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. At heart he is both Businessman and Executive Coach, and has worked in line and support functions during his career. For the majority of his professional life Steve has led Human Resource teams and has thrived on contributing to the growth and development of business executives and other professionals.

Tait & Associates, based in Hong Kong, was founded in 2008 following Steve’s retirement from the HSBC Group. Over the course of his career he held positions as Head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong (for 9 years); Senior Vice President, BC Region, HSBC Bank Canada, Vancouver, BC; Senior Executive Group HR, London, England; and Head of Human Resources, HSBC Bank Canada.

Steve is a graduate of professional coaching programs from Coach U, Sydney Australia. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) awarded by the International Coaching Federation. As such he ensures his clients benefit from the ICF’s standards of excellence in all his coaching. In addition he holds Board level roles with both ‘profit’ and ‘not-for-profit’ organizations. He is a graduate of the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
